Legacy Property Management is a small family owned and managed company. We pride ourselves on our ability to give personal service to our clients as well as their residents. Our family has been involved in many aspects of real estate for over 40 years. We live and are involved in the Northland (Clay and Platte Counties) and have been all of our lives; giving us extensive knowledge of the area, rental market, as well as many referral connections.
Hiring a company to manage your investment is a big undertaking. Legacy offers a variety of services to property owners; we will work to find a management program tailored to your needs.

Advertising - we have found that renters are primarily finding homes to rent via the internet. We use a variety of well-known rental advertising sites. We are also members of the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Facebook is a growing way for consumers to find companies and information, therefore our company has regularly updated Facebook page. Finally, we also use our own company website to advertise your rental home.
Resident Qualification - we use a company who does an extensive credit, background, criminal history and detailed rental history check on any potential residents. We have found great success in finding secure, qualified residents.
Showing Your Property - the small nature of our company allows staff to have full knowledge of your property upon each showing.
Property Maintenance - we have a maintenance person who is licensed and insured with a specialty in HVAC. He is extremely accessible and quick to address maintenance issues, and has excellent resident repore.
We offer owners a maintenance inspection twice annually for their home, included in our management fee.
Walk Through - using a comprehensive check sheet, we walk through the property with residents upon move in and move out.
Property Turn - we have a team who will get your property ready for new residents with the necessary maintenance, paint, carpet cleaning and general cleaning.
Communication - we pride ourselves on being responsive with both owners and residents. We use a cutting edge phone system which allows all messages left at our office to be sent directly to us 24/7. Our website allows residents to send maintenance requests by email to us 24/7. Our email is monitored 24/7.
Owner Reports - Owners will receive a monthly statement of financial activity along with their proceed checks.
