Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a senior software engineer with LAMP stack and 5+ years experience in a commercial software or web development environment. This person is a quick learning problem solver who can provide leadership in design and implementation to pragmatically enhance the robustness and introduce best practices into production and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong growth potential.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional software experience
  • Capable of providing leadership in software architecture, design, and implementation
  • Able to help us establish best practices (everything from source control to TDD, CI, etc.)
  • Strong LAMP and web experience
  • Strong communicator capable of understanding, interfacing with, and building key tools to speed sales and marketing

Strong Candidate will also have:

  • Python+Django and/or Ruby+Rails experience
  • AWS or related "cloud" experience
  • linux sysadmin skills, especially ubuntu
  • Git and GitHub experience

Editorial Assistant Internship

The Editorial Assistant Intern will play a key role in helping to define All Property Management's content strategy as we work to develop industry-leading information and resources for property managers and property owners.

The Editorial Assistant will work with the Marketing Manager to:

  • Define the editorial voice of our web site and blog
  • Develop and maintain the editorial calendar
  • Manage the work of freelance writers
  • Edit and publish articles
  • Build traffic to the web site through submitting articles to content aggregators

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress; major in English, Journalism, Communications, or Business/Project Management a plus
  • Editorial or professional writing experience a huge plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Can-do attitude

This is a 20-hour/week paid position with a flexible schedule.
