Who We Are:
RedStar is a family-owned and operated community association specialist. We are licensed and insured Realtors, Property Managers and General Contractors. We are accredited by Institute of Real Estate Management, Chicago Apartment Association and Community Association Managers ICB. We started managing as investors for over 30 years and currently have 76-units of our own units. We began 3rd party management over 14-years ago to address the concerns we felt with the management industry and found a special niche in small to midsized association management. We now oversee dozens of associations across Chicagoland. With RedStar, your property, your residents and your board will receive attention from a principal, who can make decisions immediately and our team of vetted and experienced support staff. What We Offer:
Besides our years of ownership experience, RedStar offers the following as part of its fee:
  • Onsite management of contractors
  • Oversight of Capital Improvements from Bid to Completion
  • Collection and Deposit of Assessment Income
  • Basic Bookkeeping with Monthly Statements (or upon request)
  • Fielding of Resident concerns, board consultation and scheduling of repairs
  • Payment of all Property Expenses including: maintenance, utilities and professional fees
  • Enforcement of  Building Rules and Regulations
  • Annual Budget Preparation and Presentation
  • Association Meeting Organization and Advisory Role
  • Routine Maintenance Checks (We suggest an annual or bi-annual walk-through) with monthly informal walk-throughs
  • Resident Payment Portal for Online Payment & Condo Document Download
